Chanichim Camp Code of Conduct Form


1 PURPOSE
This form outlines the manner by which Bnei Akiva New Zealand expects chanichim
to behave on camp.
Bnei Akiva New Zealand is a professional institution that aims to inspire and educate
chanichim. As such, Bnei Akiva New Zealand requires the behaviour of all
participants to reflect on the values Bnei Akiva New Zealand educates.
2 INTERPRETATION
Madrichim – the camp counsellors
Shlichim – the delegated emissaries in the community
Other camp staff – the kitchen staff, campsite instructors and other relevant
authorities
3 EXPECTATIONS AND AGREEMENT
As a chanich/chanicha on camp, I am expected to;

  1. Adhere to the rules and instructions given by madrichim, shlichim and other
    camp staff
  2. Participate in all programmes and activities to the best of my ability
  3. Respect both myself and my peers
  4. Treat my own, my peers’ and Bnei Akiva New Zealand’s property with care
    By signing this form, I acknowledge that;
  • I have read and understand the listed expectations
  • I understand that my parent(s) or legal guardian(s) may be contacted, and I
    may be sent home prematurely at their expense if I do not adhere to any of
    the listed expectations
